Hexagones Landscape #339

This composition presents an undulating landscape constructed from hexagonal cells. The work demonstrates a significant evolution in the artist's practice, being a modern update of a program Daniel Catt first wrote on an Atari ST computer approximately thirty two years prior. This version was created in November 2022 to mark the first birthday of the fx(hash) platform. The underlying code generates a unique arrangement for each edition. The artist provides collectors with instructions for producing a high resolution file, specifying its exact dimensions for printing as a large format physical work.
