This work was generated in March 2023 to celebrate the launch of the fx(params) series framework. Although each output is a unique edition, the program was accessible as an open edition for a five day period. The artist notes the algorithm is designed for a minimal aesthetic suitable for screen based display, archival printing, and mechanical drawing. Daniel Catt states the default settings represent his preferred appearance. He also provides parameters for collectors to modify the composition, for example by increasing line density for large format prints. The work can be exported as a vector file for a pen plotter.
