Flying PETPIGS #4

This piece is a direct and timely response to another artist's project on the fx(hash) platform. Created on Christmas Eve 2022, the work reinterprets the thirty three characters from the series PETPIGS by @TEZCATS, which had been published the previous day. Catt’s program takes these existing forms and sets them “joyfully flying high in the sky”. The work illustrates a conversational aspect of the artist's practice, using the output of one generative system as the thematic basis for a new one. The artist’s own note frames the project as an experiment.
