Pensado a mano #602

Created in May 2023, this work requires direct participation to be completed. It belongs to the Pensado a mano series, whose title means ‘thought by hand’. For each piece, the system asks the collector to draw a number of shapes. These manual inputs become the generative seed, a parameter that interacts with the algorithm’s random variables to produce a distinct composition. In the artist’s words, this method foregrounds “the time we spend doing and making things, the process”. The code also generates a vector file suitable for plotting, extending the work’s life from the screen towards a physical medium.
