Enfantines II. Enfantillages Pittoresques #38

This unique generative work was created on 22 December 2022 as an output of Alejandro’s series Enfantines II. Enfantillages Pittoresques. The project responds to Erik Satie’s 1913 piano pieces, which were composed to familiarise children with modern music. Alejandro’s algorithm has a similar educational purpose, demonstrating foundational patterns of creative coding. The system employs predefined plots and sophisticated colour blending to produce forms that the artist likens to fantastic creatures or microscopic beings. The algorithm can run autonomously or use Satie's compositions as an input, with the music directly influencing the drawn elements.
