Traffic #126

Created in 2022, this work is part of a series intended to represent a shared moment in a community. The artist’s note describes it as a companion to an earlier project, “Scaffold”. The system is designed to produce compositions that can appear either ordered or chaotic, reflecting the balance between many inputs and a single prevailing one. This is not a static image but a live program. Integrated commands allow for the generation of new arrangements, the alteration of the aspect ratio, and the toggling of a background texture. The work exemplifies Poole's method of constructing dynamic systems from elementary parts.
