SMOLSKULLs × Monster Gaze #51

This work is a product of a generative art collaboration between Jordi Gandul and Mark Knol. Recorded in December 2023, the piece titled SMOLSKULLs × Monster Gaze #51 is a unique output from an algorithmic system developed by the artists. This project aligns with Gandul’s practice of integrating his style, which features bold outlines and flat planes of colour, into generative frameworks. The title suggests a character study, a recurring format in his work. As part of the fx(params) collection, this one of one edition represents a singular moment where Gandul’s visual language is processed through a collaborative machine.
