Universal Rayhatcher #96

Created in May 2023, this piece is a unique edition from the Universal Rayhatcher system. The work represents a collaboration between the artist’s code and input from the collector. Pasma built a framework that renders a form based on a Signed Distance Function, or SDF, supplied by the minter at the point of creation. This custom Javascript formula, limited to 512 characters, becomes the central parameter for the artist's ray hatching algorithm. Pasma presents this open structure as a conceptual inquiry into what constitutes the most minimal set of constraints for a generative artwork.
