A Bugged Forest #580

Published on the fx(hash) platform in June 2022, this work belongs to the series `A Bugged Forest`. According to the artist, the project’s algorithm originates from a software bug that was intentionally preserved rather than corrected. The code from an earlier work was salvaged to serve as the generative engine for the entire series. Zancan describes the concept as an exercise in releasing control over the final outcome. This composition, number 580, is an output from that system, a process which incorporates error and chance as fundamental structural components of the work.
