This work from 2023 is a specific output from the artist’s Universal Rayhatcher system. The system itself is described by Pasma as an experimental framework, built upon his ray hatching algorithm and comprising 6942 characters of code. It is designed to be unusually open ended, allowing the collector to define the final image by providing their own code. This input takes the form of a Signed Distance Function, a specific type of mathematical formula, written within a 512 character limit. This piece is one such outcome, resulting from the interaction between the artist's code and a collector's custom formula.
