Universal Rayhatcher #119

This work from May 2023 is an output from Piter Pasma’s Universal Rayhatcher framework. The artist describes the project as an experiment in creating a generative system with the least restrictive parameters possible within the fx(params) collection. The final form is not determined by the artist alone. Instead, the collector of the work provides a custom Signed Distance Function, or SDF, written in Javascript. This formula is then processed and rendered using Pasma’s ray hatching algorithm to create the unique composition. The artist notes the code is highly experimental in nature.
