Tree and Cloud #10

This piece is from the Tree and Cloud series, a project that continues the artist’s work with generative impressionistic landscapes. Produced on 29 September 2023, the work originates from a system where every composition contains two constant elements, a solitary tree and a single cloud. The artist's note explains that despite this fixed premise, the arrangements show remarkable diversity. The cloud may assume many forms, from a mist that shrouds the tree to a shape that suggests the contours of a mountain. The work thus illustrates how a simple set of rules can generate a wide range of expressive outcomes.
