Flowers and Sky #242

In his note for the `Flowers and Sky` series, the artist explicitly cites the influence of impressionist masters. This work, `Flowers and Sky #242`, reflects that interest through its application of bright colours and textured, brush like marks. The entire scene, however, is an algorithmic construction generated with javascript. Every component, from the smallest petal to the rays of sun, is rendered by the code. Minted in 2023, this work is a unique edition. It demonstrates how a logical, rule based system can be used to generate expressive and non representational natural scenes.
