This work from the `Luminocity` series presents a cityscape filled with glowing windows, a subject the artist connects to the light of distant stars. Neoformix, the name used by Jeff Clark, creates his works entirely from code. `Luminocity #241` is not a static image but a dynamic program. The initial state of the work can be altered by user interaction. Specific keyboard commands change the scene's lighting from night to sunrise or sunset. The resolution can also be substantially increased. This piece from February 2023 exemplifies a generative work that functions as a mutable system.
