Luminocity #216

The artist’s note accompanying this work reflects on the millions of lights in a city. This particular iteration, minted on 21 February 2023, is from the `Luminocity` series by the artist Jeff Clark, who works from Toronto under the name Neoformix. Clark’s custom javascript program generates a unique cityscape, with this being one of a series of one of one editions. The work is dynamic, containing instructions that allow for the time of day and image resolution to be altered. This method demonstrates how the artist builds atmospheric subjects, informed by traditional landscape, from logical and probabilistic systems.
