This work from the Flowers and Sky series was generated on 1 June 2023. The artist, Neoformix, employs a generative system to produce scenes of meadows filled with flowers beneath a colourful sky. The program renders every element, from individual petals to clouds, using simulated brushstrokes. According to the artist, this approach is inspired by impressionist painting. The composition is determined by eight formal features, each with a range of possible values. One variation, an eclipse, is assigned a low probability of three percent, making its appearance a rare occurrence across the entire series of unique works.
