`Flowers and Sky #186` is a generative work produced entirely through javascript code written by the artist, Neoformix. It belongs to a system that creates scenes of meadows and skies, with every leaf, petal and sunray rendered algorithmically using simulated brushstrokes. The project is designed to produce a wide range of outcomes by combining eight formal features in different ways. Although built upon a logical foundation, the composition appears organic and expressive, reflecting the artist’s interest in the relationship between systematic processes and emergent results.
