Tree and Cloud #16

This work is a unique generative landscape from the `Tree and Cloud` series, created in September 2023. The underlying javascript system produces scenes that always contain a solitary tree and a single cloud. According to the artist, while these elements are constant, the compositions vary. The cloud can assume many forms, from a gentle mist to the foundation of a mountain. This piece is one outcome of a system where colour palettes and simulated organic brushstrokes are algorithmically determined. The project demonstrates the artist's method of using code to create compositions that reference impressionistic painting.
