Created in September 2025, ElectroMycelium #29 is a singular, one of one generative work by Neoformix. The artist’s background in data visualisation and design informs his entirely code based practice. Using standard javascript, he builds systems governed by parameters and probability to produce compositions that appear organic and atmospheric. Neoformix frequently uses this method to engage with traditional subjects like landscape painting. As with other pieces in the ElectroMycelium collection, this work arises from the artist’s central concern with generating expressive results from the precise language of computer programming.
