This animated work is a unique piece from the `ChromaSlide` series, generated in February 2024. The animation runs continuously and does not repeat. It is created entirely with javascript code that governs the interaction of a palette of four colours, with each colour emerging from a different edge of the canvas. The system then shifts rectangular regions of pixels, causing colours to mix and overlap in complex patterns. The work can be paused or restarted. The process investigates whether persistent visual structures can arise from the system's simple rules of movement and interaction.
